T5 and your cargo
Terminal 5 opens at London Heathrow airport on 27 March 2008. Bringing together our passenger operations on a single campus at Heathrow, it promises to improve the levels of service we provide by reducing complexity and simplifying freight processes.
Our preparations for the move have been underway for over eighteen months, during which time we've invested £21 million in new equipment - tugs, trucks and trailers - systems and a recruitment drive to ensure a robust performance from day one. We've also been fully involved in proving trials that have been taking place since last September to ensure our drivers are completely familiarised with the new terminal.
Such investment underlines our ongoing commitment to provide you with the best service and real value for money.
