British Airways World Cargo names new Regional Key Account Manager Asia Pacific (29/05/2001)
British Airways World Cargo has appointed Koji Miyazaki to the role of Regional Key Account Manager, Asia Pacific.
Koji has worked for British Airways World Cargo since 1988, where he started out in operations in Tokyo. He moved to the UK in 1996 to focus on Japanese customers, for both the export and import side of the business.
Koji will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Steve Cassidy, Regional Cargo Manager Asia Pacific.
Cassidy said: "I am very pleased to welcome Koji back into the Asia Pacific team. His role will be to develop business with our key global customers, through working closely with the area teams and the global sales team in London."
Miyazaki said: "Asia Pacific is an important marketplace for British Airways World Cargo and I am delighted to be taking this position in Hong Kong. My new role will help me further develop our business and build closer relationships with key global customers in that region."
Koji will assume his new position in August. In the meantime, Steve Cassidy will be working closely with Carina Fleischer, Head of UK & I Sales to ensure that a suitable replacement is found for Koji in the UK.
