British Airways World Cargo unveils 50th Constant Climate station (26/05/2009)

British Airways World Cargo has today announced that Kuwait is set to become the 50th station across its network designed to handle imports of Constant Climate, its temperature-controlled product for pharmaceuticals. The service, which will launch on 25 May 2009, demonstrates the ongoing success of the carrier's focus on premium products in line with customer demand.

As the name suggests, freight delivered using Constant Climate is kept at a constant temperature throughout the journey, through the use of active temperature-controlled Envirotainer™ containers.

Stuart Forsyth, product development manager commented: "Temperature-controlled goods is the fastest growing sector in the global air cargo market and the announcement of our 50th Constant Climate station demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supplying customers with specialist products that make a difference to their business. Since we launched Constant Climate in June 2006, we have extended our Constant Climate network to match our customers' needs. We are delighted with the increasing success of Constant Climate, which will provide our customers with greater flexibility and choice."
